Agility is designed to demonstrate a dog's willingness to work with its handler in a variety
of situations. It is an athletic event that requires conditioning, concentration, training and
teamwork. Dog and handlers negotiate an obstacle course racing against the clock.

Agility is a sport in which a dog/handler team is given a set amount of time to negotiate
through a series of obstacles including tunnels, jumps, teeter, A-frame, dog walk, tire
jump, and weave poles. Agility  is an exciting fast-paced sport, which requires a dog and
owner to have at least completed the
Beginner Level of Obedience.

Dogs can compete for numerous titles in several different venues.  It is a fun confidence
builder for both the dog and the handler as they learn to negotiate the "doggie" obstacle
course off leash.

Classes are offered in Beginner (starter), Advanced Beginner and Competition levels.
