Founded in 1958, Western Lakes Training Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the training of
ALL dogs (purebred and mixed breeds alike), while promoting good sportsmanship and providing an
opportunity for dog enthusiasts and owners to share in their common interests.
Club membership is not required for class enrollment and participation. WLTC training classes
are open to EVERYONE. Our experienced instructors teach you how to train your dog to be a true
companion and good canine citizen. If you re interested in actively pursuing competition and titles in
obedience and/or agility, we'll help you to perfect your skills so you can show with confidence and achieve
successful results.
WLTC conduct obedience and agility classes on a weekly basis, and also holds:

Varied Community Service Events

Registered Therapy Dog Testing

We also have performed obedience and agility demos at the Erie County Fair and Twin City Canal Fest
(just to name a few), sponsored seminars and continue to actively perform community service work at
nursing homes and local hospitals through our members' Therapy Dog visits.
Our club meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 PM at our new training hall.
Informative programs are periodically featured and guests are always welcome
